Tragic Barn Fire
We would like to inform everyone of the
tragedy which took place in the early hours of Feb 14th. At 2:10 am we
lost our 10-stall horse barn to a fire. No horses we in it, although we
did lose one barn cat, all of our tack, feed, medicines and the daily
items needed for our horses. The cause of the fire is
"unknown," however there is a strong suspicion of arson, and
the blaze could be seen for over 30 miles away. We would sincerely like
to thank all of the fireman -- companies from Butler, who were first on
the scene; Arcadia, Boring, Hampstead, Jacksonville, Hereford and
Reisterstown, who came to our aid that night. We are also deeply
humbled by the caring and kindness of our neighbors who have continued
to help and support us in this time of need. Thank you.
